Doctor? Lawyer? These two profession rules the minds of our generation but the future will be toatally
different.

By 2030, we’ll lose over five million jobs to automation.
That means that future jobs will look vastly different by the time you graduate university.
Don’t worry, though! The jobs of the future will actually be more interesting than those of the past.
In 2030, some of the most popular jobs could be vertical farmer, space pilot or body part maker,
according to a new report.

Computers and robots are expected to transform the fields of medicine and farming. In medicine, the
invention of new limbs and organs will allow for a new job for sports teams and the military: body part
maker.future jobs will involve knowledge creation and innovation. Machines are actually doing you a
favour.

On the microscopic level, “nanomedics” would allow selected scientists to treat cancer and other
resistant diseases at the cellular level.

But that’s not all. Here’s the complete list of Future jobs:

Body part maker:

Create living body parts for athletes and soldiers.

Trash Engineer:

Humans produce 2.6 billion pounds of trash annually, and what do we do with it? You could turn our
rubbish into clean gas! Or figure out a way to make it combine to make it strong enough to construct
buildings with! The possibilities are endless but it’s up to you to come up with the award winning ideas.

Nano-medic:

Nanotechnology advances mean sub-atomic treatments could transform healthcare.

GM or recombinant farmer:

That’s “GM” as in “genetically modified” or engineered crops and livestock.

Elderly wellness consultant:

As an aging population increases in size, we’ll need folks to tend to their physical and mental needs.

Memory augmentation surgeon:

Like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, surgeons could boost patients’ memory when it hits
capacity.

New science’ ethicist:

With the rise of cloning and other ethically-dubious practices, ethicists will be needed to ford the river of
progress.

Space tourism will allow for space pilots, tour guides and the architects that will allow them to live in lunar
outposts.

The future of farming is straight up. Vertical farms in urban areas could significantly increase food supply.

A social worker for the Web generation.

Branding managers:

These already exist for celebrities, but now everyone needs a “personal brand” so others can easily
